Quilt Jackets and Loafers

Happy Thursday Everyone!! This week has gone by so fast, I honestly can’t believe tomorrow is Friday but I am super excited for the weekend. After tonight’s stroll in the neighborhood, I made sure to devour some mint chocolate chip gelato as I watched “How To Get Away With Murder.” I’m still on the first season so don’t give anything away yet, so far so good.

Also please tell me I have some Nicholas Sparks fans reading my blog, then you understand my excitement for his new book, just started reading it. I usually end up finishing it within two days, but this time I will make sure to give it some time so I can enjoy it much longer. Any who… as I was recently started unpacking my winter clothes and putting away summer clothes I made sure to hang up this quilt jacket in our coat closet. It is by Ralph Lauren and I purchased it at the outlets last fall, but I have found a similar one which is currently on sale at Nordstrom, also by Ralph Lauren. This jacket is the perfect beige color, it looks like the Burberry one, but much more budget friendly. It’s warm but light; so great for those early fall mornings. This jacket is also a classic, which will last you forever and will never ever go out of style! Invest in pieces that will be around for a while, don’t just invest in pieces that are trendy at the moment. My pants are super soft J Brands which I recently purchased from Nordstrom Rack. They are currently sold out but I found a similar pair by J Brand and these are by GAP. They even have some colors for under $25. (PS I have the polka dot ones). My sweater is light pink from Nordstrom Rack, they have a bunch of colors available, I picked up the black as well and I bought a Small as reference. They run pretty big, so size down for sure. Anyone who knows me will tell you I love a really good pair of loafers, I have had some success in the loafer department and have accumulated a few over the years because they are seriously such a classic shoe. My blush loafers are from Cole Haan, I love the light color its absolutely perfect for spring and fall. I have linked this similar pair here, here and here which are all currently on SALE!! Coach also makes some great loafers! My bag is Dooney and Bourke, perfect for your lap top or even travel bag. I have linked a one here which is absolutely adorable and under $45 and this Tory Burch one. My David Yurman Jewelry is linked here and here.  Thank you for stopping by, hope you are enjoying this awesome Thursday evening!
