Happy Monday Everyone! Are you all ready for the holidays? This past week was filled with holiday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and some shopping. Let’s start by recapping an awesome dinner party at Rays on the River here in Atlanta. The food was delicious, I would highly recommend it and the view for sunset was absolutely breath taking. If you get a chance to make a reservation be sure to make it right around sunset, the river and sky make a master piece, I couldn’t stop staring. Don’t forget to try the Raspberry Chocolate Mousse cake, it’s seriously one of the best cakes I have ever had.
Saturday I met a friend for Brunch at Bread and Butterfly near Inman Park and I am pretty sure we were there for 3 hours. We couldn’t stop talking which is what you need sometimes, girl time is great for the soul. PS the cappuccino and pancakes were super delicious and it’s such a cute little café, made me think I was back in Europe. We did some shopping afterwards because there were honestly some great sales going on, I will make sure to do a separate blog post for that, STAY TUNED!
Okay I have to let you all in on a little secret, growing up my father always got my sisters and I the same presents because he never wanted us to feel left out. So if it was my sister’s birthday we would all get something, and same went for them when it was my birthday/graduation etc. So on Sunday, I was hanging out with the family because my brother in law just graduated from college! (YAY) So the story goes, the boys went out to explore and my mother in law and I did some shopping up at the Avalon in Alpharetta, they had the cutest sweaters and long sleeve tops for the boys at J.Crew. I got my husband and his brother the same shirts and wrapped them up and made them open it up that evening. Their reactions were priceless!!
Now my outfit details, my new handbag by Tory Burch is my new obsession. I gave a ton of my old handbags to my youngest sister and told myself, I need classic pieces that will last me a while. Which is why I chose this pale color, great for winter and will transition perfectly into spring. They also have it available in black, linked here. My jeans are by Paige Denim in the kylie crop and you have seen me in them a ton of times because I am totally obsessed I can’t help it. They are a great investment! I have linked two pairs here and here, both under $80 and a raw hem pair here for $64. My J. Crew Sweater is in a size Medium because I love the oversize look, but a small was seriously perfect. I actually get a ton of questions about why I size up on sweaters sometimes and to be honest it’s because I am actually quite busty (TMI) figured I should cover that question on here, it also might help as a size reference for those who might prefer a size Small. 🙂 They also have a ton of other colors available which is one of my favorite things about J.Crew.(PS the image below comes up in a light blueish color). My New Balance sneakers are adorable and super comfy, great for walking, exploring while looking polished. I have also found a pair here for under $70, currently on sale. My Tory Burch Flats in the color light oak and I would definitely size down half a size, I usually wear a 6.5 but I purchased a 6 because they are leather and will definitely stretch out. And how adorable is this new planner that I re-purchased over the weekend I have the pink version that I keep at work and got myself the orange floral one to use as a personal planner. They are seriously the best and come in the cutest patterns. They also have a smaller version that I have linked here, just incase you don’t want a large one, also comes in several patterns.
