Please tell me that everyone else was busy running around this past week?! I kind of invited our friends and family for a dinner party Saturday (on a whim)  so I spent all week planning what to make, what to get and the seating arrangements ( we live in a one bedroom apartment) space is limited, but it all worked out, plenty of seats for everyone! 🙂 I decided I should probably recruit some help so Whole Foods scored again. Did you know their bakery section is AHMAZZINGGG, if you have ever need home made bread try their country bread, it comes in a huge loaf, seriously tastes and smells amazing (tastes like Bosnian bread).

I made a list of entrees I wanted so for dinner we had grilled salmon, steak, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, spinach and romaine lettuce salad, two different types of pastas one was smoked mozzarella pasta salad and the other was a bell pepper olive oil pasta salad. For dessert we had Tiramisu from WF with some amazing coffee of course. I am left with a ton of left overs so I know what I  will be eating for the next few days!
I need to give my husband major credit, he was such a big help, seriously the best co host EVER. Team work really makes the dream work, he helped me stay organized and on track; when I get a little nervous I get all flustered and forget things WHOOPS!
Anywhooo, I also did a little apartment redecorating, got Arnel’s city pictures printed and hung up (thanks to my father in law). The sizing for our prints were 12×16 which isn’t a standard size so I ordered them from Nations Photo Lab and they did such an amazing job; I got my prints in 2 days! So if you are looking for a place to order your prints check them out.
Arnel also planned a date today at the HIGH MUSEUM OF ART, isn’t he the cutest? The museum is gorgeous, love the stairs and the architecture. They have these amazing windows, such great lighting, along with some pretty fascinating exhibits. If you are in the area and love art, make sure to check it out! Also, the surrounding area in Midtown is super cute with great coffee shops and restaurants.
Sorry for the rant, now lets talk about this outfit which is so easy to recreate and a go to for a casual chic look for the weekends, school and pretty much anywhere. These Paige jeans are the same fit as the ones that I wore a few posts ago, these are the dark denim and I am obsessed with them. I am wearing a size 26 for reference. My white V- neck t shirt is from Nordstrom Rack and it’s the softest little T-shirt I ever did wear, wearing a size M for a loose fitted look. My shoes are by Sam Edelman, but the Vans are identical. I actually want a black pair! My Cardigan is by the brand Hinge from Nordstrom, it’s actually sold out online but I have linked a ton of other similar long cardigans below, I have included all the prices as well. The handbag is Tory Burch and I wear it almost everywhere, it’s the perfect shade of nude, goes with everything and the zipper on top keeps things from falling out. My scarf is only available in taupe and it’s super warm, definitely needed it for today’s windy weather. But not to worry I have linked a similar gray one here.
Stay tuned for a Valentines Day Gift Guide tomorrow!
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
