Striped Top, Tory Burch Tote, Joe’s Jeans, New Balance Sneakers
It’s already Wednesday, 2 more days until the weekend! I am getting a haircut on Saturday and I am so excited, these split ends have got to go. I was looking through magazines and anyone who can pull off that long bob with loose curls; I envy you! #hairgoals.
Do you know how many times I have wanted to just chop it off but then I talk myself out of it?! Like every other week! Since I have super thick hair and the slightest exposure to any kind of moisture in the air will turns it into a bird’s nest, but not like a cute cuddly one, a scary one! So for now I have to work with what I got which is keeping it long and split end free. Also these round cheeks can’t handle short hair; i’ll spare you the details on that part. Also spending a few hours at Natural Body Spa in Buckhead, thanks to the hubs; these feet and hands need some major LOVE right about now. I wore this Navy/White Striped Top over the weekend, actually I wore it the entire weekend because it’s the most perfect top ever, it’s made out of the coolest fabric, it’s nice and airy and perfect for tucking it in or leaving it as is. You will probably also like THIS TOP & THIS ONE I am wearing a size Small but an X-Small would have been just fine. Since I am a little busty I fluctuate between sizes. I love the oversized casual look, I am sure you have noticed 🙂 I am also a huge fan of stripes, you will see me rocking striped tops all spring and summer long, the nautical theme is so my jam.
I am wearing my new Joe’s Jeans and I am currently obsessed with this style; have you noticed the bottom hem, so cute right? They fit and feel great, super comfortable. My number one thing to look for in jeans is the feel and fit of them. Feel as in the softness of the denim, no course or harsh denim, makes me feel like I am wearing cardboard jeans. The fit is super important, you don’t want them riding up or sliding down, sit at the waist. I am wearing a size 26, which is what I usually wear in designer jeans. Size 26 is equivalent to like a size 0 or 2 for those of you who aren’t familiar with the conversion, a 27 is around a 2 or 4 and so on; I believe that’s how it goes.
My Gold/White Sneakers are too cute for school, no actually they are perfect for school especially on those days where traffic has hit a complete stop and I have to run from the parking lot to class; then these guys come in pretty handy. They also come in pretty handy when you have a ton of errands to run, a walk in the park, a lunch date, actually they are my go to when I want to pair my jeans with sneakers and look cute and casual at the same time. I wore them this past weekend as we browsed through every store within the Atlanta area; Arnel’s family and my family all have spring birthdays so we had a ton of shopping to do 🙂 I have also linked a similar pair HERE (currently on sale) & HERE.
This Tory Burch Bag has been a life saver in so many ways, the material is amazing, it’s the perfect size, not too big not too small. You can throw it over your shoulder or cross body.
