Happy Monday! Can’t believe it’s already April, like seriously where did the time go? My birthday is just in a few short days and Arnel hasn’t stopped spoiling me, he really was the best birthday present I ever did get, no lie!
The past few weeks have really been crazy busy with work, we have a bunch of HIPAA risk assessments and a ton of traveling. Then we had a HIPAA Summit which was very interesting, I actually enjoyed it a ton. School has been manageable, always making sure I stay ahead (read ahead). Oh how can I forget, we have been enjoying the nice weather, a ton of outdoor activities, walking, farmer’s market and a ton of trip planning.
As many of you may have heard there was a fire under a bridge last week which actually caused a part of the I-85 southbound bridge to collapse. As if Atlanta traffic wasn’t already a nightmare, this has been such a tragedy. Thankfully no one was hurt and the bridge can be replaced but it has caused a huge dent with evening plans, especially after work. Did I mention the bridge is like 1500 ft away from our apartment which has now turned our neighborhood into a mini highway, no joke. It took me about 2 hours just to get into my parking garage (nightmare). Just imagine over 200k cars not being able to use a major interstate, it’s pretty bad.
Anywho……I have been doing a ton of online shopping which is why I shared this beautiful embroidered top that I purchased a few weeks ago. It has the cutest details and the prettiest sleeves, also I am obsessed with the collar. Check out this similar version (you will adore it). I love this top for date night or work, can easily paired with a pair of ankle pants (the ones I am wearing) or a midi skirt shown here & here. Tonight Arnel and I did some bike riding around our neighborhood and picked up some plants for our balcony, okay maybe we got chips and queso to go as well which I am about to snack on a bit and watch the new Netflix series (13 reasons why).
