Dress, White Sandals (last seen here), Basket, Bike
Happy Friday!! This past week we endured a bunch of storms and a huge cold front. If you watched my insta stories, I was wearing a wool jacket to stay warm today. Isn’t that just horrible, because I am pretty sure I was wearing dresses to work for a week straight and all of a sudden the temp drops and the wind gets crazy (ahhhh totally disliking it) I am hoping it’s a temporary phase that mother nature is going through (fingers crossed).
These past few weeks have been crazy busy especially with work, that is why Arnel and I are both looking forward to our trips that are coming up really soon. Seriously the time is flying, can’t believe it’s already April and I just celebrated by 26th birthday yesterday. My birthday was definitely one for the books, my sweet husband spoiled me, he actually started surprising me really early this year; from my Chanel espadrilles to this amazing bike that I am so excited to share with you all.
I wanted a beach cruiser for a while, I put it on my wish list a few months ago (actually years ago) and I am so glad I did. Now that we live in the city and near the park I feel like I can really use this thing. I really wanted something light and cute but with different speeds because riding up a hill would be kind of difficult but this hybrid version is sure to come in handy where ever you are. I will be bringing it along to our Charleston trip next weekend. I also purchased this basket and I am so glad I did, it’s great for throwing in your sunglasses, wallet and phone; very roomy.
I have also been on a huge dress hype, I can’t even begin to describe why I adore dresses so much but it’s mainly because they are so easy to throw on, pair with some cute sandals and call it a day. This floral blue dress is so light and comfy (currently on sale for 30% off), it has these cute mini ruffles on the shoulders and buttons up in the front, I absolutely love how it accentuates the waist and it’s the perfect length. It hits right above the knees making it totally work appropriate! (YAY) I am wearing a size XS for reference. My white sandals are currently on sale and go with everything, they have a cute little block heel, adding just a tad bit of height and I am telling you every little inch helps, I usually size half a size up in Jack Rogers so I purchased a 7 instead of my normal 6.5 🙂
This Navy/Turtle dress and this Mosaic Print dress are also super cute and budget friendly!
Have an amazing weekend!!
xoxo
