Another busy weekend filled with traveling and we are finally home resting on our sofa attempting to book more trips for the summer. We are trying to explore more of the southeast coastal areas. Arnel loves the beach and I am a huge fan of all the cute beach towns so we are both excited about it!
We actually have spent every weekend away for the past several weeks and I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that it can get exhausting, whether it’s a road trip or a plane ride, the hauling of the luggage, the planning and the packing; it can definitely get overwhelming. I like to say I have become pretty good at the whole packing thing, first I wanted to find a carryon that would be durable, cute and compact. I found this IT Luggage Set a few weeks ago and have been using it for every trip. The compartments on the inside are genius and perfect for staying organized. Also found this similar version and this floral one.
Our trip this past weekend to Kentucky for my little cousins 1st Birthday Party was short but so sweet. We headed out first thing Saturday morning and I made sure to bring my favorite Linen/Cotton Blend Cardigan that I have been obsessed with, it also comes in this new shade of Pink Smoke that I absolutely adore. Wearing a size M Petite which is equivalent to a regular Small; love how light it is for the transition into warmer months.
I knew we would be grabbing lunch before we checked into our hotel so I wanted to look casual/cute but comfy during our drive. My Cuffed Denim Shorts are hands down my favorite and most flattering I have ever owned. Found this pair for under $70. Denim shorts have been so hard to find and please tell me I am not the only one struggling with this?! There are so many adorable ones out there that I wish I could pull off but in all honesty they just don’t end up working for me, but these are different. They are slimming throughout the hip/thigh area and hit at the perfect length without being too short. Also found this pair under $30 and this pair currently on sale for $29.
My tank top might be the best V-Neck loose fitted tank I ever owned. I am wearing an XS so it runs a little big. It has wide straps so it’s definitely more versatile, pair it with a cardigan or just as is. I also purchased this Mustard color because I am just loving all the yellow this season (comes in a ton of other colors). Thinking of pairing it with some white jeans and cognac slides, what do you think? Won’t even lie but I actually purchased two white ones because I will be wearing the heck out of it all summer long (no shame) it literally goes with everything, skirt, skinny jeans, shorts, you name it!
My favorite MF Wedges finally came in, I ordered these months ago and were on back order so when they got delivered I did a little jump for joy. These are in the Olive Suede and fit true to size, love the color and the style, these have been a favorite for many others and always sell out so quickly. I found this pair for under $60 and are almost identical, also comes in a few other shades. Wedges have been my favorite and tomorrow I will be sharing a few of my favorite shoe styles for the summer, so stay tuned!
