Before I go dive into this post and talk about this day to night look, I want to thank you all for all the amazing feedback and all the sweet messages that you all have sent this past week. It seriously makes my day to see all the positive encouragement and support, so a big big big thank you to everyone. Also I have noted all the amazing things you all want to see, so stay tuned for a ton of great posts and a ton of variety from work wear to home decor and some smoothie recipes oh and for all my readers who want to see a “Whats In My Bag Post” stay tuned because that one gets published before I head to New York, cannot wait!!
So as many of you know, besides running Hello It’s LOH full time, I am also an Analyst full time so when I am not crunching numbers behind the scenes I am usually found at the mall or online shopping. One of my favorite things is incorporating fun pieces into my work wear wardrobe. And after a ton of you had asked what are some looks to wear to work and easily transition into happy hour I thought a fun top and trousers is the way to go.

This Cold Shoulder Top with teeny little hearts on it stole my heart (cheesy right). It really did and the sleeves were perfect addition. This top is bra friendly, under the straps there is a little hook so you could enclose your bra strap and keep it concealed. The top is a 100% silk and feels so light and airy, which is perfect for summer and perfect for fall as well. I actually draped this White and Navy Trimmed Blazer while at work and slipped right out of it after. I have also found a few other favorites, this White Ruffled Top, Silk Cami (under a blazer) and this Mock Neck Ruffle (comes in emerald green, white & black).
The Navy Trousers were recommended by an associate at J.Crew who said they were a must have. I gave them a try and oh my goodness they are what a light pair of trousers should look and feel like. The material comes in a light crepe that just hugs in the right places and nicely drapes everywhere else. It does have an elastic waistband (only in the back) but I promise that’s the best part. Ever tried on a pair of pants that just seemed to be too big or too tight but fit everywhere else well this pair will fix that. They also hit right at the ankle which is my go to look, anything cropped just send them my way. If you prefer a more casual look after work, pairing the silk top with a Dark Pair of Skinny Jeans (currently under $80) is also another option. I personally love a dark pair of jeans, they are ultra flattering especially the mid-waist/high-waist which will elongate your legs.
While these Bow Front Pumps are old, the bow detailing seems to be coming back year after year. I have found several other nude pumps, here, here and here.
Hope you have an amazing weekend!
xoxo
