This week might be the first week where the temps have finally dropped below 80 and it feels so nice. The mornings have been quite chilly that a jacket is needed but still nice enough to wear skirts and boots. I have been curating my fall wardrobe and purchasing investment pieces that will be easy to transition into the winter months. Most recently I have been playing with fabrics and patterns and adding a pop of color.

Quite frequently we head up to North GA to visit Arnel’s parents; while we usually just stay overnight or the weekend, I try not to overpack so I have been using this small duffel bag for easy travel. Loving the cognac leather it’s perfect for fall, it’s pretty spacious, I usually pack two bottoms, two pairs of flats, a top and a sweater (to give you an idea of how roomie it is). This past Saturday we had a huge family dinner and I wanted to be both comfy and put together so jeans and a button up is my go to when I can’t decide what to wear. These AG Skinny Jeans are definitely a favorite, purchased them during the Nordstrom Sale a few months ago and they are so worth it. They fit in all the right places and have a bit of stretch to them so they are comfortable beyond belief.
After spotting this RL Gingham Button Up during a flash sale; currently regretting why I didn’t order more tops. Love the slim fit, wearing a size 2 for reference! Also found this one for under $60, comes in a few other colors!
These J.Crew Loafers have been my go to lately, the color is “fuchsia” but it’s definitely more of a red. They come in black as well so if you are looking for a neutral and extremely comfortable pair of loafers these are it. I actually had to size down half a size in J.Crew recently; purchased a 6 instead of 6.5. Leather and suede tend to stretch out after wear so going down half a size is recommended normally. PS they are currently 20% off!
