Banana Republic Sweater Dress, Navy Suede Pumps
Why do the weekends go by so fast? It’s been such a busy month already that I am so itching for a getaway with Arnel, any suggestions? I have been wanting to get more exploring done before the temperatures drop drastically, love some good mountain views and colorful leaves. Thinking of a hiking trip next weekend so will definitely need to stock up on some outerwear.
Recently I have been hunting for some fall sweater dresses, but most importantly sweater dresses that would be appropriate for work and for the upcoming holidays. Fit and flare is definitely a style that I tend to gravitate towards; it’s flattering and tends to fit most body types. This Banana Republic Sweater Dress (also comes in a plum version) was a must have when I saw it; comes in a gorgeous dark teal, with precious button detailing. Also love the ribbed effect on sweaters especially on dresses! I went with an XS for reference, definitely true to size.

This dresses reminds me of something Kate Middleton would wear and she is my ultimate style icon. Her choice of clothing is always so classic and elegant and drapes beautifully. I wanted to dress it up and wear it with some Navy Suede Pumps (under $60) which really compliment the dress nicely, I sized down half a size in the pumps and they fit perfectly. A plum colored pump would also look great!
I also found a few similar options, this gray one under $60 and this navy one currently 50% off, they can both be dressed up or down, great for the office as well as date night or girls night out.
