Happy Sunday! Hope you all are having a wonderful and festive weekend! Arnel and I have been relaxing most of the afternoon and evening, took a nap or two and did some more decorating around the house. I also did some cleaning out Saturday morning and reorganized my coats. I didn’t notice how many coats I have purchased in the last month, can’t wait to share my favorites with you this week. One of many favorites is this coat of many colors.
When I first saw this J.Crew Italian Tweed Coat online, it was love at first sight and I mean that! I loved the bright green and intricate colors and threads of the tweed fabric. It’s a coat that I can wear with a pair of jeans or a fancy dress, recently wore it on Thanksgiving Day seen here. It has sold out but, definitely check back for restocking.
I also found a few other tweed bright colored coats; this Club Monaco Pink & Navy Tweed Coat, this Blush Tweed and this Ann Taylor Plaid Coat.
While on our trip to Richmond, Arnel and I went out for a coffee date because anyone who knows me knows I love a great cup of coffee and when exploring cities I love to check out all the trendy coffee shops and Lamplighters Coffee Roasters is no different. We went to the one on Morris St!
Colorful Coats
Since it was a casual day date, I opted for my favorite pair of Citizens of Humanity Black Jeans (wearing a size 25, normally a 26). Since they are high waisted I had to size down otherwise they would be too big around my waist. I love the fit and darker shade of black denim on the side.
With the cool mornings, I made sure to pack up a few cozy sweaters and this Ivory Sweater with Fringe detailing. It can also be worn with some faux leather leggings and boots. Instead of boots I wore these bright Mustard Velvet Slingback Flats, which sold out during Black Friday but I found a similar pair here and here.
