I woke up extra early this yesterday morning, our bedroom window was extra bright and it’s because the entire street was covered in white snow and the reflection was unbeatable. I haven’t seen a real snow day since I lived in Virginia, so it was a pleasant surprise for sure.

Arnel and I got to both work remote which was nice but very busy and filled with a few surprises. With the low temps lately the pipes have been freezing up and caused a few bursts in our building so we have become really friendly with the fire department the last few weeks, we have had a few scary nights to say the least.
On a happier note, with the frigid temps we couldn’t help but throw a few snowballs around and enjoy the empty streets. We took the time to just enjoy the first real snow day and walk around the neighborhood.
I tried to bundle up, so layering was a must, aside from a few undershirts and a cozy knitted sweater, I found this wrap that I have had for years, found a similar one here & here. And what’s a snow day without some Hunter Boots, love that they come in a ton of colors. I would love another pair, have been obsessing over the green ones.
This Checkered Coat has been one of my favorite purchases, last seen here. I also wore my go to jeans that I have had on rotation lately, they are so flattering. Love that I can also wear them with boots because they are so easy to tuck in, whether I am wearing them with Uggs, OTK boots or even knee high boots, they always so fit so well and don’t scrunch up at the knee.

Hope you all enjoyed the snow as much as we did! Happy Almost Friday!
