DVF Cotton Shirt-Dress, Laundry Shelli Segal Tweed Jacket, Steve Madden Block Sandals (last seen here), Cuyana Satchel
Hello Friends! Arnel and I have both been super busy with work that a getaway was a must for sure, so that’s exactly what we did. We headed to Charleston on Sunday morning since it’s about 4.5 hours from Atlanta. Though I am not a big fan of road trips but Arnel makes them pretty entertaining and he always has such a great selection of podcasts.

We decided to book an Airbnb on Morris Street which is in the historic district and 2 blocks from the popular King St. There is just so much character in Charleston which is one of the main reasons it’s filled with visitors, also can’t beat the amazing restaurants, cafes and gorgeous historic homes. The city is also accessible with a bike which is my favorite, so if you are driving from a nearby city definitely bring your own bike, it’s what I always do.
As soon as we arrived we unpacked and headed out for lunch on foot and decided to get lost in the neighborhoods. With the weather in the 60’s I opted for a DVF Cotton White Shirt-Dress (wearing a size 2) which I featured on my insta stories a few weeks ago knowing it would sell out quickly. Shirt-Dresses have definitely made a come back and looks great for spring, easy to wear for work and date nights and for a more casual look just throw on some adorable slides. I also found a ton of similar shirt dresses currently on sale & under $90, here, here & here.
I decided to pair this dress with a Tweed Jacket (wearing a size 2) in case it got chillier and some Pink Block Sandals that are so comfortable, thankfully I found them in stock in all sizes. You may have noticed that my Cuyana Satchel is my go to bag, it’s great for dressing up, also has a cross body strap which is amazing when I want to throw it over my shoulders and make it hands free, the bag also comes in a beige and black.

We ended up walking around until sunset and picked up pizza on the way back to our apartment for dinner and enjoyed the evening in. Charleston has definitely captured our heart, can’t wait to share more looks from our Charleston excursion, so stay tuned!
