Vitamin Sea is always a good idea, who’s with me? Whenever I want to clear my head or just need a getaway the first place I want to escape to is the beach. It’s just so peaceful, I could be there all day! When I lived in Richmond, VA the beach was a short 1.5 hour drive, now that I am in Atlanta, it’s much longer but frequent visits are in the near future.
This past trip to Charleston, we headed over to Sullivan’s Island, we packed our beach bag full of snacks and brought a blanket so we could enjoy the cool breeze. Sullivan’s is definitely the perfect place to watch the sunrise, if you happened to be there in the evening just know that the sunset will set in the west so it won’t be as visible, but none the less it’s just as beautiful.
Also if you are traveling by car, bring your bike, because you will definitely enjoy a bike ride on the beach or even a jog so bring your sneakers.
Before we headed out the door, I put on an Ivory Cashmere sweater which I almost always bring along regardless of where we go since it gets cooler in the evenings. I also threw on my favorite pair of CoH jeans in the style Cara, have been wearing them on repeat, love them so much. I also have been wanting to order the white pair, what do you guys think?
A staple that belongs in everyone’s closet is a beige trench, the one I am wearing is so old have had it for over 5 years now and love it now just as much as I did back then. Love that it can be dressed up or down, found a few similar ones that are absolutely adorable and definitely a must have if you don’t already own one, my picks are here, here and here.
Along with a classic trench, I love a great pair of flats, anyone who knows me will tell you I pretty much collect shoes and my recent espadrille purchase did not disappoint. Loved wearing the Soludos Wrap Around Espadrilles in the cream and black. They are so comfy, I actually went down a size, from the reviews I read some had said they sized up, but it could be this years model or it could be my narrow feet but I went with a 6 instead of a 6.5. I highly recommend these little guys, so budget friendly, will be your go to shoe during the spring and summer.
