I took a few days off social media since I had been crazy busy with work and needed some time to work on a few things that had been in the works. Arnel and I were also getting ready to Dog Sit for the weekend, we knew we would be busy hanging out and taking the doggie to the park, so no photo shoots for us. I also received a job offer on Friday which I will be sharing about in the coming weeks which is super exciting!
I have been wanting to share this dress with you guys since we got back from Charleston! It had been one of my favorite purchases and thankfully I found it in stock here, but I had also found a few budget friendly ones here, here and here. I had my eyes on this dress, months ago but couldn’t quite get myself to purchase it while it was full price so I waited for it go to on sale and as soon as it did, I ordered it! I knew I had to bring it to our Charleston trip! I ordered a 0 and it fit perfectly, the dress is a heavier cotton fabric with pockets and any dress with pockets is my kind of dress. It would also be great for a bridal or baby shower or any upcoming events you may have.
When I first wore this dress, I put on my favorite Ivory Cashmere sweater which you may have noticed I wore a ton in Charleston. I put it over my dress as we walked to breakfast and then took it off as the day got warmer and just kept it over my shoulders. On our way to breakfast I kept stopping by all the homes and asking Arnel to capture all the gorgeous landscape, stunning architecture and beautifully designed homes because one day when we finally decide to buy a house, I want to be able to look back and find inspiration from all the homes we had seen during our travels.
When in Charleston, you know you will be doing a ton of walking, or at least I hope! It’s a walkable city which is one of the reasons we love it so much, with that said, you will need some comfy flats, sandals or slides. These Bow Slides came in right before we had to leave and I was so thrilled. They are in a sand colored linen fabric, which goes with everything and I will definitely be wearing them with more dresses and skirts this Spring.
