It was Earth Day yesterday! It’s such a nice reminder to continue taking care of our environment and ourselves. You may have remembered a few weeks ago I talked about purchasing cleaner beauty products after discovering some of the same products I have been using were a little too harsh for my body. It’s so important to take care of our bodies from the foods we eat to the products we apply on our skin. With so many requests to find clean skin care and beauty products, I decided to pick up a few items on our recent trip to South Carolina from Walmart.com! They had everything available, definitely a one stop shop for organic beauty and paraben free products.

I wanted to start by sharing my must have items that I have loved having in my travel/gym bag along with having on my vanity and it’s been these Burt’s Bees Facial Wipes, they are perfect for removing make up and dirt. I love using them when I am on the go or if I am heading straight to a workout class after work. When my skin needs a little pick me up then I reach for my Burt’s Bees Pink Grapefruit Facial Wipes.

If you followed along on my insta stories then you may have heard how bummed I was to find out that one of my favorite facial cleansers had paraben in it and a ton of other toxic chemicals. So I was on a hunt for a healthier alternative that wouldn’t break the bank, another reason why Walmart saved the day (almost all the products are under $15)! I ended up finding this gem, the Neutrogena Facial Cleanser + Make Up Remover, it makes my skin feel so fresh and it’s so budget friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone, it also has a ton of great reviews!
Since I have mild Keratosis Polaris on my legs, I found the exfoliating has helped me the most and so glad to see that my all time favorite Sugar Scrub is on Walmart’s organic beauty products list. I have used this scrub for years and it’s been a game changer especially when the seasons are changing. Another thing to help sooth my KP is moisturizing and my recent favorite has been this Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Body Oil. I apply it after my shower and it keeps my skin so moisturized.
Lip products have definitely been on my spring beauty buys list and recently started exploring with more and more and have been obsessed with this EOS Organic Lip Balm, I always keep one in my office and at home, so moisturizing. I also love all the Burt’s Bees Lip Products, have used their chapsticks for years and they smell so good.
If you are on a hunt for clean make up such as blush, mascara and brushes, etc I have picked out my favorites below. The Real Techniques Brushes and Eco Tools are amazing, great quality and super affordable. Love how soft and gentle they feel on the skin!
