Hi Friends! So you know I have been on a a roll with getting some Spring essentials from skin care to wardrobe and I am loving everything. I also found the most perfect jumpsuit for Memorial Day Weekend!
I have also recently been trying to make an effort and introduce clean beauty into my routine along with some serums and eye creams. I am usually a “less is more kind of girl” but a few additions into my skin care routine won’t be too bad. Since having Sofia, sleep is a distant memory, and exhaustion is at an all time high so some extra help is a total must.
Let’s talk about this Rebecca Taylor Jumpsuit that I have been loving, the print screams spring and summer. When I first saw it, I knew I had to have it, the ruffle detailing on the sleeves, the adorable buttons. It’s definitely nursing and pump friendly which is a plus for everyone looking for jumpsuits with buttons. I will also be rocking it for Memorial Day Weekend with some white sandals. My favorite part about investment pieces is having the ability to dress it up or down. You could totally throw on a pair of wedges for date night or brunch or keep it super casual with mules and some summery slides.

I opted for this Schutz slides that I actually purchased last year but were so popular that they came back again this year. I also love that they come in white. The leather is super durable and definitely need to be worn a few times to really mold to your feet.

Okay my new make up and skin care products might be my absolute favorite to share with you guys only because I rarely ever try new things and I finally went for it. First thing is this Drunk Elephant Shaba Eye Cream, have used it for a week now and I am totally obsessed, I apply it at night and first thing in the morning after just washing my face with cold water. I almost purchased the Drunk Elephant C-Tango but was told not to overdue it with the Vitamin C serums since I purchased the Tatcha Vitamin C serum, which is the total best purchase ever. I only apply this at night and it has made my skin super soft and just gives it that extra glow. Hands down best two purchases ever. I also have super sensitive skin and was worried any new products would break me out but nothing so far which is super exciting. Another thing, these are both clean beauty products so you don’t have to worry about any harsh chemicals or ingredients like other serums and eye creams might have. As always if you are pregnant or nursing please check with your physician about what products you are allowed to use and what you aren’t allowed.
Okay Mama totally needed a new quick and easy make up routing so I asked you guys a few weeks ago about a tinted moisturizer and you all came through with so many amazing suggestions. Since I am a die hard Bare Minerals fan and have used this original foundation for over a decade now, I opted to try the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer (I wear the shade opal). This is a super light tinted moisturizer and it is very buildable if you prefer to put some powder and or concealer over it for a more done up look. It’s also great for me when I want to run to the grocery story or when we start heading to the park in the mornings, I can just apply this because it has SPF too. I also purchased a new Bare Minerals Blush in the shade Call Me Blush, it’s a perfect pink mauve shade and it’s super pigmented so a tiny little dab goes a long way. I also wanted to try a new eyeshadow that was also little and could travel with me, so I found this Bare Minerals Nude Eye Shadow Palette. It has the perfect shades and I have also been using them all week long. I also got some new eye brushes that can be found in the carousel below along with my new favorite/affordable mascara primer.
