The last several weeks have been super crazy, I am back at work and juggling motherhood and workhood! While it has been challenging, longer days but definitely luckily I leave work around 2 and spend the rest of the day with Sofia. Once I am at home, it’s all about our little peanut so playtime, feedings, lots of books to read (she learned to close the book on me) it’s the cutest thing though. She is also scooting on her mat while on her belly. It’s been so much fun just watching her grow and watching her learn all these new things.

We also had a fun and eventful weekend, it was Arnel’s first Father’s Day weekend and I could not wait to spoil him. On Saturday we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden and it was so fun to explore with Sofia, while she won’t remember any of it, so glad we have pictures from her very first trip to the Garden. I opted for high waisted shorts that I scored during the Netaporter sale and a my new favorite Cuyana Striped Tee (wearing a small for reference bc I am a 32DD chest for reference). These tees might seriously be my new favorite, while a little pricey, they are worth every penny. The pima cotton is insanely soft and I had to get it in the white and in the navy/white stripe.
After an attempt to get brunch which ended up with Sofia having a meltdown in the car more like scream fest that lasted a good 20 minutes. We decided on take out from our favorite restaurant here in Atlanta, Rumi’s and have a sit down meal at home while so Sofia wouldn’t have a meltdown in a restaurant. Once we got home she was seriously the happiest, I genuinely think she just hates her car seat at the moment.
Now that I am back at work, I am wearing all my new blazers and it’s definitely been fun to wear them with shorts. I feel like it just makes it look a bit more dressed up by simply adding a linen or crisp cotton blazer. Linen and cottons have been my favorite for the summer, breathable fabric is just so important to me especially since we live in the south and the humidity can be so brutal.
