Happy Monday! Feeling extra inspired this Monday and so excited that I will be coming out with a blog post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday! Recently I have been doing blog posts as I found free time which got a little hectic but with a bit more time and some better planning, I am finally able to set a full schedule in place.
Is anyone else excited for Spring? I know you all are, I can’t contain my enthusiasm, not even one bit! After our little trip to Charleston, we came back a little bit more refreshed, definitely needed some r&r time. We also got inspired by all the blooming trees and plants, it also doesn’t hurt that every house you walk by is in a different color and I can’t even explain the gorgeous window boxes! I definitely have to step my planting game up.

On this particular day in Charleston, Arnel and I headed out for lunch to Magnolia’s, which is located on E Bay St. They serve anything from sandwiches to specialty entrees. I opted for the salmon and it did not disappoint, make sure you leave room for dessert and wine because their selection is amazing!
If you are in the mood for walking like we were, then head down to Rainbow Row which is nearby, while it might be filled with tourists snapping photos of the bright colored homes, the alleyways lead to even prettier homes and window boxes. We actually had an elderly man step out of his house and tell us about the history of his home, it doesn’t always happen but the locals are awfully kind so Arnel and I got super lucky and took full advantage of learning more about the historic homes.

Let me dig into the fashion details of this Rebecca Taylor Floral Wrap Dress (wearing a size 0 for reference) the detailing is beautiful and the wrap makes it that much more flattering. The ruffle detailing at the hem is just adorable! I also think this dress would be perfect for a bridal shower or even baby shower or how about those outdoor spring weddings. My Joie Banner Sandals are the perfect happy medium when you don’t want to wear strappy heels and your aren’t quite in the mood for flats. Since mine are almost out of stock, I found a similar pair here.

This is also one of my favorite Straw Totes by Sea & Grass! It’s lined and very well made, it’s also sturdy and quite roomy. It’s big enough to fit my cardigan, wallet and extra pair of shoes if my feet get too tired, I sometimes even throw a wrap in there for outdoor picnics. Hope this dress inspires you to explore a bit more with fun prints, patterns, especially floral print!
