Who else is hitting the road for Thanksgiving? Arnel and I are actually getting ready as we speak, we both had to work today and we will be hitting the road with the baby bump in a few hours. Wish us luck! I usually am not a big fan of road trips, I feel like my driver, won’t be mentioning any names but let’s just say he keeps it very safe on the road and I am that person that’s like “Are we there yet?” lol. Anyone else like that? I hope I am not the only one, but I am so excited to finally see my family and be back in Richmond, I haven’t been back since last Thanksgiving and I am just so pumped to indulge in momma’s cooking and hang out in my old stomping ground.

The most important thing to me when traveling is that I am comfortable whether it’s a road trip or whether on the plane, I love to be comfy and cozy. Aside from travel attire, my most recent weekend attire has been this super cute warm Sherpa Vest in brown, it’s so cute and light weight and I just love pairing it with leggings or a pair of jeans. It also comes in a Sherpa Jacket version and a Sherpa Pullover, which are both so soft. I also throw it on in the office because I love how warm it is and my office can feel like a refrigerator at times. And this road trip will be no different I will probably be wearing it the whole time.

Another favorite is this Southern Shirt Cardigan that I am obsessed with. Love that it can be dressed up or dressed down. This past weekend I actually wore it as we ran errands and it looked so cute with my leggings, long sleeve tee and sneakers. If you didn’t want to be as casual than I would recommend wearing it with a pair of jeans and some booties and your look can go from super casual to put together with just a change of bottoms.
