A few weeks ago I was invited to attend a benefit for Hospice Atlanta. I thought goodness what am I going to wear? Then I remembered my black dress that I love so dearly!! This black dress has and always will be one of my favorites. The first reason; because it’s very flattering and the second is because of the deal I got on it.
I bought this dress at Saks and the discount will blow you away, this dress is a Michael Kors Collection dress originally priced at 1200, yes that’s an extra zero at the end. I purchased it for $250 because it was a red ticket clearance item. YAY! I always hit the high end department stores and look through their sale racks, because why not? No Shame in my game!! The next time you are walking by Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus be sure to stop in and check out their sales, you will be surprised at the amazing deals you will find. In the mean time I have linked several dresses, like this Eliza J Dress identical to this Michael Kors Collection dress except it’s more budget friendly, also this beautiful velvet dress, and this off the shoulder Helmut Lang. My dress has a slight off the shoulder, so I kept it very simple at the neck line by adding my simple pearl necklace. I paired this dress with my red Mary Jane Pumps, which were inspired by the Christian Louboutin Mary Janes, except mine are Jessica Simpson from Nordstrom Rack. After a bunch of digging, I found my exact pair of Red Mary Janes on Amazon. They are perfect for dancing the night away. I absolutely adore the Mary Jane style, it keeps your feet in securely, they are classy and add just the right amount of color to a simple outfit. As for my clutch, I bought this black clutch at Nordstrom Rack a few months ago, it’s just the perfect simple black clutch that can be used for any occasion.
