Wedding Guest Dresses

So I this weekend was filled with a ton of fun activities and a ton of rain. Arnel and I were knocking on death’s door yesterday, we drove in this awful storm that came out of no where. Gosh it was super scary, but then we helped this old man figure out his google maps on his iphone because he had no idea how it worked, so I guess the storm was all worth it. I am hoping he made it safely to his destination!

Y’all I have to tell you guys how cute Auburn is, my dear friend goes to Pharmacy School there and we got a little tour of the city and the school, it was just too cute. Might be heading back for another trip, sometimes it’s nice to just get out of town and hang out with friends. We ate so much food, I am pretty sure that is why I slept in this morning (13 hours exactly) I was suffering from a food coma. Could also be that I am catching up on major sleep, I was thankful, I definitely needed the rest. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Our friends are also getting married in April, so I was so excited to share some great wedding guest looks on here!! Aren’t ruffles the cutest thing you ever did see? Spring time is for wedding dress shopping and this Black Ruffle Dress is just too darling not to have. I told you all that I went a little too happy with dress shopping last weekend. I have also linked a bunch of cute black dresses below. The thing with black dresses, they are perfect for weddings but they are also great for any other event on your list this spring.

This dress has the cutest ruffled sleeves, a huge trend this year.  The nude detailing at the front adds a touch of color and flare, making the neckline and sleeves just pop.  Speaking of flare, check out the light pleats, doesn’t it just make you want to dance? yes ma’am it does. Love me a dress that I can throw on and hit the dance floor in.

The high collar is my go to, it’s comfortable, sophisticated; making it work appropriate as well. Now, as for the sizing, I am wearing 0P, but it also comes in regular sizes. Since I am 5’2 1/2 yes that 1/2 goes a long way, I prefer to buy petite dresses so they can hit right above the knee 🙂 Remember if you go with petite just go up a size, so lets say you are a 2, then buy a 4P, and so on. I went with the  Steve Madden nude ankle strap sandals, seriously can’t ever go wrong with them. They look amazing with jeans, dresses, just about anything. They elongate the leg and the ankle strap makes them comfortable for walking and dancing. Best part is, they come in a variety of colors, fit for anyone!
