It’s almost Valentine’s Day! Arnel and I celebrated early, in between surprising him with some gifts for his birthday(I couldn’t hide them any longer), we made sure to grab some yummy lunch, visit my in laws,  exchanged some gifts, shopped a bit, laughed a ton in between; all in all in was an amazing weekend. The weather was absolutely spectacular by the way, hence the outfit!

 

 

To be honest we make sure it’s LOVE day EVERYDAY, there is nothing more special than feeling loved and loving someone every minute of everyday. (I’ll skip the mooshy gooshy stuff)

This past week has been super busy, I am sure you all would agree. The weather was a bit off, one minute it was in the 70s the next in the 40s, I wasn’t sure what was going on. I honestly had packed away a bunch of winter stuff already so I am hoping that the freezing temps are long gone. I am in desperate need of some spring weather.

I am totally loving all the spring stuff all the stores have layed out! The Spring is by far my favorite season, especially here in GA. The summers are too hot and humid, I can start sweating just thinking about it. Anywhooo… let’s talk about this beautiful Ruffled Top by Aqua, wearing a size small (runs true to size), can also be worn off the shoulder, I prefer to wear it just normally (not off the shoulders) but to be honest I love it either way. It gives me all the feels for SPRING!!

I read one of the reviews and it said the top doesn’t quite stay off the shoulders, to be honest the top isn’t meant to do exercises in and most off the shoulder tops will slide up and down depending on what you are doing. It’s seriously a beautifully made top and looks beautiful with jeans or dressy pants. It’s also at a perfect price point and I will be re wearing this all spring long, no shame in my game. My Gazebo Pants are an absolute dream (sizes are going quick, use code HEARTYOU for an extra 30% off). They are linen and super duper comfy but still dressy at the same time. I bought mine in a size 0 because linen does tend to stretch out while wearing, so feel free to get your true size or even size down. Initially when I put this outfit together I was envisioning myself on a spring day in NYC, lol and I wanted to feel extra chic (NYFW inspired me).

Now lets talk accessories, my Steve Madden sandals are an old time favorite, currently on SALE under $60 (selling out quickly). My sunglasses are by Tory Burch; I am sure you see them on me ALL the time, can you tell I love the retro look?! They had previously been sold out, but Tory came back and restocked them. YAY!

I have also included some other tops and pants so the look can be recreated using similar styles.
