The weekend was a fun filled weekend with the family and my sister is coming to visit on Wednesday! YAYY can’t wait, she is also moving down in MAY, I seriously can’t contain my excitement. The past 2 years have been filled with a ton of boy activities with Arnel and his brother, totally need some spa days with my sister 🙂
Y’all this skirt is from last year from Loft, but they are having an amazing sale that ends tonight.I love fun skirts, no but seriously I do; especially during the spring. They are so fun and flirty and so easy to just throw on a long sleeve top or tank top and call it a day. Wanted to discuss online ordering, so I am 5’2; pretty short, so I usually check the length measurements when ordering online or tend to buy the petite version if available. I get a ton of questions on tips for ordering online and it’s all about using your measuring tape. I am being completely honest, I can’t begin to tell you all the times Arnel has caught me measuring myself in the living room, he is usually like wait what are you doing, I am like babe I want to know how long the skirt, jeans or top will be. He gets a kick out of it! Hey can you blame me?! Also know the material, sometimes the pictures online can look a little different, personally anything cotton gets my vote 🙂 so easy to take care of.
My top is J.Crew, similar HERE & HERE so soft and comfy, will last a lifetime, usually wear a Medium in J.Crew cotton tops. I have linked linked a super cute similar skirt, perfect for dressing up and totally work appropriate. I have read mixed reviews but I think they are true to size, I purchased a 6.5 which is usually what I wear and they fit like a glove. I have worn them to work for the past 2 weeks, totally worth the purchase. I have purchased them in black as well, because I just couldn’t resist! There is a similar pair under $60 HERE; they look identical to the Marc Fisher wedges, but a total steal, come in several colors as well.
