It’s been a few days and I am so excited to share our little getaway to Palm Beach. While this trip was meant to happen a few weeks ago, we ended up pushing it back just a bit due to the rain! Thankfully we booked an early flight out of Atlanta Thursday morning so that we would have all day to explore and wouldn’t miss out on anything. Upon our arrival we were both so excited that once we got checked in The Colony Hotel, we headed out to explore. We had both heard so many wonderful things about Palm Beach, the food, the hotels, the stunning homes and how picturesque everything is that Arnel and I had to dive right into the adventure.

We headed out for an late breakfast/early lunch and thankfully our hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants and cafes. We headed down to Worth Ave and I was pretty much in awe of everything! Arnel and I kept telling each other that all the buildings reminded us of old Spanish and Moroccan architecture. Every little corner looked like a different part of Europe.

After lunch, I insisted on dessert and picked up some Gelato on our way back and stopped into a few Art Galleries, the streets were so quiet, partially because it’s June and it isn’t a busy month, so I felt like we had the entire city to ourselves and I wasn’t complaining one bit. If you prefer a quieter setting then I definitely suggesting going off season, it’s way more romantic!

While packing for our trip I made sure to pack every fun/bright colored piece of clothing I owned, you are on vacation after all so dress well and enjoy it! First look I wanted to wear was this adorable Caroline Constas Gingham Crop Top (wearing it in blue/white). Love that it can just be worn as a regular top or off the shoulder, really looks great either or. The button and ruffle detailing makes it that much prettier. It hits right about the belly button so wearing high waisted bottoms would complete the look.If you aren’t a huge fan of skirts, you could also pair the top with a pair of high waisted white jeans or a pair of high waisted white shorts. I also found a similar top here under $30 from Nordstrom Rack, comes in two gingham prints.

I opted for this MDS Floral Button Front Skirt (wearing a 2 for reference, went up on size) it’s absolutely stunning, the fabric is a super soft breathable cotton. It’s perfect for the humid temps and perfect for dressing up, for the weekends paired with a tank top and it would look great for any vacation this summer.

PS Added so many crop tops and skirts at amazing price points!
