How To Style New Spring Wardrobe

Spring is right around the corner! We have been so lucky to get some amazing warmer weather these last few weeks that I was super excited about to bring out some new spring wardrobe and style it. It also means I get to continue wearing my dresses and topcoats which makes me one happy girl.

This past weekend Arnel and I got venture outside a bit more, had several meetings Saturday morning and got to have a wonderful lunch outdoors. The weather was mild, but with the sunshine out I knew I could wear a dress with my new gorgeous Tara Jarmon Top Coat from Yoox. Yoox has been one of my favorite retailers when on a hunt for designer items or when on a hunt for some great designer sales including their coats. They currently have an amazing Winter Sale happening and I am all in. If you know me then you know I love a great sale and Yoox will not disappoint. I actually found my top coat on sale which was was inspired after I saw a peach colored version worn by Kate Middleton, she was also pregnant at the time and it looked so elegant and sophisticated on her that I knew I had to have it. I paired it with a Navy dress that I have worn my entire pregnancy but this coat would also look great with this Tara Jarmon Navy Swing Dress or even this Maison Margiela Sleeveless Sweater Dress.

Topcoats

If you have followed along the last several months, you know that I have absolutely adored investing in coats, top coats, blazers, trench coats etc. I have loved pairing them with simple dresses it really completes an entire look. With the changing weather, especially during spring I almost always have a coat on me, especially when you work in an office setting or have a meeting to attend, it can transform a casual look instantly and elevates your style in a whole new way. I have also found a few other adorable top coats that would look beautiful over dresses or even dress pants, can be worn to a baby shower, a bridal luncheon or for a day at the office; this gorgeous Vanessa Scott Coat, Tara Jarmon Pink Coat with Embellished Collar,  & this Beatrice B Light Pink Tweed Jacket.

Accessories

The next best thing for Spring is to accessorize, if you aren’t into wearing a ton of jewelry or just prefer to keep a look simple, I recommend wrapping a pretty scarf around your handbag which is exactly what I did. I opted for this gorgeous Navy/Green Alexander McQueen Scarf  (blue/yellow version available only) that matched perfectly with my dress and topcoat. It’s also on sale which makes it that much better. I also found this other bright Alexander McQueen bright yellow scarf that would be perfect for the Spring and Summer. Adding a pop of color or a pretty print can make a subtle yet beautiful statement, it’s really the perfect way to transform a look.

Spring Wedges

While recently I have been on the go and love to wear flats but when I want to add some fun to a look then I am all about the heels and when Spring is around the corner then I make sure to bring out all my favorite Castaner Wedges and honestly Yoox has so many options you will want them all. I found this gorgeous Navy Pair, Nude/Gray Pair, & this White Pair. I have several pairs of Castaner Wedges and can’t recommend them enough, I normally get a 6 just because the canvas fabric will stretch out a bit, so if you are in between sizes go with the smaller size for sure. They also look so great with dresses or even jeans and can be dressed up or down.
