Shift dresses and blush tones for the win! I am a little obsessed with shift dresses, I mean seriously they are perfect for every occasion, especially lunch. Ever thought about having a big ol’ meal and not having to worry whether you are going to have a food baby, yup thats why this dress wins. No but seriously, it will hide your burrito baby as well.
I have always been a fan of mini shift dresses, I wear a ton of them during the summer and fall, with sandals, wedges and pumps. They are very versatile. I love the classy, yet sexy look!! Shift dresses are usually straight through the waist and hips and tend to be a bit shorter (but I am short so it never causes too much of a problem) And if you are like me then you hunt for the ones that have pockets because I love dresses and pockets. This dress has a thicker, tweed like material and the blush tones just make for a really pretty fall look. It’s perfect for a lunch date with the ladies or your significant other. This dress is by CeCe which is a brand that I discovered about a year ago, they are available at a Nordstrom and always have a ton of pretty dresses, beautiful patterns and fabrics. I have linked a few different shift dresses that I have linked above and I absolutely love this burgundy dress by Felicity and Coco. I have also ALWAYS been a fan of trench coats, they are light and warm enough for fall and perfect for the rain as well. I have had mine for a few years now, it’s by Michael Kors and has a detachable hood for those rainy days. I have linked several ones here, here and here which are ALL currently on sale. I paired this dress with these pretty lilac colored pumps form J.Crew. They are not available anymore but I have linked a similar pair here by Ivanka Trump.
