Kate Spade Poplin Dress (also love this one), Sam Edelman Lace Up Espadrilles (also love these), Retro Light Pink Sunglasses
Fall Wedding Season is upon us and I couldn’t be more excited! My sister’s wedding is coming up in less than 2 months so we are in full swing. Still have to decide which dress I am actually going to end up wearing but there is one thing I do know and it’s what to wear to a bridal shower. Whether you are the Maid of Honor or the Bridesmaid or a friend/family member of the bride, it’s important to look presentable and feel beautiful.

I will squeeze in any excuse to put on a cute dress and attend an event. When I am looking for a dress I can’t seem to find one but when I least expect it then they stumble into the palm of my hand. Which is why it’s never a bad idea to get a dress, if I fall in love with a one; I will either make an event all on my own (have date night with my husband) or have it hang out in my closet and eventually an event or party will come up and it will be ready to go.

After being invited to a bridal shower this past summer, I wanted to share a few dresses I really loved especially this Kate Spade New York Dress in this gorgeous blue and white print. It’s ultra flattering, the fit and flare really compliments most body types and the soft fabric is ideal for the summer as well as the fall. It stays in the lower 80’s well into the fall months especially here in GA which makes it too warm for a cardigan but wearing a wrap or pashmina for cooler months would look adorable and be quite perfect for fall.

I also found this colorful print dress, this white dress which would actually be great for the Bride and how about this one; love the pleats. I have been investing in dresses that can be worn on multiple occasions, whether it’s a bridal shower, a tea party, a fancy brunch or birthday party I want to be able to throw on a different pair of earrings, a different shoe and completely transform the look. This dress is one of those that will always stand out but will be one that I keep reaching for. I also can’t rave enough about the pockets, any dress with pockets wins my vote.

Whether your bridal shower is outside on the lawn or inside at a country club, these Lace Up Espadrilles will save you no matter the location. The heel isn’t too high and the wedge makes them easy to stand and walk in for hours. I have worn mine time after time as you can see here and here. I have also found a few similar styles here, here and here.

My additional pop of color comes in theseĀ Light Pink Sunnies for under $50. I also am loving this Two Tone Round Pair for under $15. Accessorizing with bright jewels is a way to color block but also adds character and style to your ensemble.
Hope you have an amazing week and please share your top favorite pieces or looks to wear to a bridal shower!
xoxo
