It’s Friday and January is almost over, can you believe it? It has been so beautiful here in Atlanta, the weather has been in the 70’s and I have never been happier. It’s s so nice to have the windows open with fresh air blowing in.
The first few months at the beginning of the year are the busiest for us. So many birthdays; my mom’s is on Sunday 🙂 Arnel’s is next month YAYY. Also who doesn’t love Valentine’s Day and all the spring weddings. Our friend’s are getting married in April and I think I went a little crazy with some dress shopping last weekend. I can’t wait to show you what I have picked out. The first one on the agenda is this PINK DRESS, those sleeves are to die for, I can’t get over the ruffles and the fit is on point. When your significant other sees you in it, he might just trip and fall 🙂

I am wearing a size XS, it has a bit of a fit and flare look and the length is so appropriate, not too long not too short. I have linked a ton of other dresses (at the bottom) at different price points, this PINK VELVET one is on sale for and extra 50% off making it under $30. I really love pink for the Spring, its elegant, feminine and looks great on everyone. I will be wearing this dress for our Valentine’s Day dinner and I am so excited, fingers crossed that this pretty weather stays for a while. I am so over the cold. I am wearing Steve Madden Sandals, actually wish I had these in every color. They go with everything, especially this nude color. I am actually drooling over this Marc Fisher pair, need them in my life, they would go great with jeans and dresses. What color would you pick?
As for the clutch I have actually linked two similar ones HERE and HERE, these bohemian clutches are going to be a hit this spring and summer, they can dress up any outfit, looks great with solid colors, just enough to make an outfit pop. I honestly love adding hints of color with jewels and clutches, subtle yet classy.
What are you guys up to this weekend? I should be cleaning up right now since we are going out of town tomorrow to visit some friends. Sometimes you just need a quick little trip am I right? We are actually planning a trip to Charleston soon as well (for the weekend). if you have any recommendations of cute little shops and must see places, email me or comment below.

March 15, 2017 at 3:57 pmOk – Not sure how I stumbled upon your blog, but WOW am I glad I did. This dress is EVERYTHING! The pink is STUNNING! I immediately went to the Nordstrom site to fine this Charles Henry Dress! I love it! I was even happier when I saw that it was available in pink AND Black. It’s on sale, so…BOTH PLEASE! I will say that the shade of pink on the Nordstrom site is not NEARLY as vivid as the color of the dress you are wearing, but I shall keep my fingers crossed that the dress I receive is as intensely pink as the dress you are wearing in the photo. I also hope that the dress length hits me as perfectly as you described!

March 22, 2017 at 1:55 amHi Valarie,
Thank you so much for visiting, so glad you stumbled upon my blog.
The pink is just as pictured in my posts. The site has it in a more peach tone but it’s much brighter in person. I am 5’2 and it hit me right above the knee so fingers crossed that you absolutely love it.
