Day To Night Embellished Dress

When I had planned to wear this dress to New York I knew that I would be wearing it to an event because it was just the perfect black dress with the prettiest embellished detailing. But I didn’t want it to be a dress I wear for an evening out or a fancy dinner I wanted to be able to wear it to work and during the day and what about the weekends, don’t we just love wearing dresses on the weekends?

Arnel and I got up very early one morning so we could explore the Dumbo area and I thought this Needle and Thread Embellished Dress would be perfect for breakfast and a quiet morning stroll. Of course it was quite chilly so I made sure to bring my Club Monaco Trench that I purchased a few months ago for the cooler months ahead and it’s been the perfect staple in my closet, I wear it all the time, it’s light and fits just right. I also just love wearing it over my shoulders for those chilly mornings and nights. The color is very neutral and will transition nicely for the upcoming winter and spring (Wearing an xsmall for reference). They also come in a few other shades, also found this very similar Blush Trench.

While I love wearing heels I definitely love giving my feet a rest with a great pair of flats and these Vince Blush Loafers have been so good to me and my feet. They feel like butter, they have sold out of the blush but they have recently come in with the most gorgeous fall tones, like this burgundy. Walking was such a breeze when wearing comfy shoes, we ended up having a coffee and breakfast at Bluestone Lane; the cutest little place, picture perfect to be exact. If you are headed up to New York make sure to make stop in the Brooklyn area because the food is too good and definitely Instagram worthy.

For a transition into a night time look, I packed a pair of black heels, they are great to throw in your purse especially if you are meeting your significant other after work for dinner. These Steve Madden Heels have been around for years, they never seem to go out of style, they look great with pretty much everything, dress pants, jeans, dresses, you name it. I have them in the nude as well and always seem to reach for these when I want to dress up a look.

My Cuyana Satchel has been seen a favorite, seen in multiple blog posts and always seems to fit everything I want and need. It’s dressy enough for date night yet casual enough for everyday wear. It also comes in a few other shades, such as black, gray and beige. It also makes for a super nice gift, thankfully Arnel got me this one before my trip to NYC and I am so thankful for it.
