Arnel and I were both so thankful to enjoy the Monday at home, while it rained on and off, Arnel and I decided to head out when the sun started to come out! I just wanted to be outside, I missed my family extra hard that being home reminded me so much of them, I needed an escape and just keep myself busy. It helped ease away that anxiety!
When I am feeling in a funk, then I need to throw on something bright and colorful and what’s better than these Moon River high waisted shorts which are under $80 and so perfect for the summer. I am wearing a size Small for reference! I love the tie detail and the bright yellow print. I was going to bring them to the beach next week but decided to cave in and wear them out Monday. I also have the top, which I can’t wait to wear with some white jeans or shorts.
When it comes to my favorite top, this Elizabeth and James Top that I purchased a few months ago may be my favorite purchase ever. I have worn it at least a dozen times, it goes with absolutely everything, it’s the one top I reach for the most. I have it in light blue as well and wear it just as much, luckily it’s in stock here YAY! Also found a similar one here, here & here.
A few months ago, I mentioned this Simon Miller Handbag but couldn’t get myself to splurge, so we patiently waited until it went on sale during the Net-A-Porter sale a week ago and Arnel ended up surprising me with it for our Anniversary. I love the color so perfect for summer! PS totally forgot how comfy these gladiators were, I ended up walking a few miles in them and they were so perfect, they were an old purchase from J.Crew but Madewell has an identical version here.
Also anyone else think that the first few months of the year have literally flown by so fast, I can’t even think? Please tell me I am not the only one!
