Happy Thursday! The weekend is right at our finger tips so hang in there! It’s also day 3 of 3 for our mini series of “how to wear pink loafers” and there is nothing better than a huge throw back to our middle school years with the denim mini. I must admit, it might actually be one of my favorite trends from this past season. So if you have one lodged in your closet some where make sure to brush the dust off and rock it.

I had done some browsing online of what exactly I wanted out of a mini and it was for it sit a bit high waisted which has been flattering since I wear my tops pretty loose so I don’t want to necessarily hide the waist. With that in mind,  I also didn’t want to spend a fortune on it because with trendy items I try not to splurge on since they aren’t always here to stay forever. But rest assured they will come back in a decade or so and you won’t feel bad for having a denim mini in your closet. I grabbed this AE High Waisted Mini a few weeks ago and have worn it over and over again. It’s true to size and the perfect length, will look great with oversize sweaters and cardigans as the temps drop.

Since I love experimenting all the various ways that I could dress up or down a particular item, I wore the denim mini with a Madewell Tee in a rose color and added the Vince Loafers to complete the look. They are also one of the most comfortable loafers I own, my go to shoes when I know I will be on my feet or running around town. They are a great investment for the upcoming fall, will definitely transition nicely with all your fall wardrobe.
